The Lifelong Learning Center
The Adult Education Division, established in 1957 with a welding class of 20 journeymen carpenters, has grown to enrollment of over 10,000 student registrations and employs over 200 instructors annually. This growth represents a realization among the adults of Missoula County that education is a lifelong process in our modern technological and diverse society.
Adult Education has become recognized as an integral part of the individual’s educational needs, as well as the responsibility of the public educational system as part of the overall educational program. Missoula County Public School District, like many other school systems of the state and nation, has accepted the challenge and responsibility of more comprehensive involvements.
